Topgolf Expansion Continues

Topgolf, with 82 worldwide locations, continues to expand with the opening of new venues, now serving 20 million players annually that enjoy the Topgolf experience.

ORLANDO, Florida – Topgolf continues expansion with the opening of new venues. Now with 82 locations across the globe, more than 20 million players annually are experiencing Topgolf.

Topgolf’s venue experience centers on people taking part in point-scoring games in outdoor hitting bays that are equipped with the company’s Toptracer ball-tracking technology. The ball’s distance, height, speed, and more are tracked, and players earn points based on the game they’re playing. On top of that, Topgolf also features specialty menu items like its signature nachos, top-shelf drinks, family-friendly programs, and other offerings in addition to gameplay.

“It doesn’t matter if you’ve never picked up a club before, Topgolf welcomes everyone and we find that your skill level doesn’t really play a role in how much fun you have with us,” said Topgolf Chief Operating Officer Gen Gray. “We’re more about letting loose and having fun.”

In addition to the two new locations in Baltimore (#81) and Louisville (#82), other new locations have been announced.

BALTIMORE

Topgolf opened its first venue in Baltimore and its third in the state of Maryland.

“We couldn’t wait to welcome the Baltimore community to experience Topgolf,” said Topgolf Chief Operating Officer Gen Gray.”

Located at the intersection of Stockholm and Warner Streets in the Southern Gateway Entertainment District, the new venue sits adjacent to Horseshoe Casino Baltimore and M&T Bank Stadium. Topgolf Baltimore will house 90 outdoor hitting bays on three levels.

KENTUCKY

Topgolf welcomes players to the 82nd venue and first Kentucky location near the Interstate 264 and Shelbyville Road intersection at Oxmoor Center shopping mall. That means players across Kentucky will be able to have fun participating in Topgolf’s technology-enabled venue experience, where both veterans and newbies to the game of golf have a roughly equal chance of winning a round of Topgolf’s point-scoring games.

At Topgolf Louisville, 102 hitting bays await players at the three-level venue. For more info on Topgolf Louisville, visit https://topgolf.com/us/louisville

MISSISSIPPI

A new Topgolf venue is planned for Jackson, Mississippi, becoming the first venue in the state.

Located off Interstate 55 in Ridgeland, northeast of the Renaissance at Colony Park, Players at the future Topgolf venue will soon be invited to enjoy the brand’s signature experience in an energetic and fun environment.

“We are thrilled to be joining the Greater Jackson community and look forward to welcoming those in and around the capital city,” said Topgolf Chief Development Officer Chris Callaway. “As a company focused on enabling more people to play the game of golf, we feel the Jackson area is a perfect place to kick off our growth within the region.”

The two-level Topgolf venue will feature 60 climate-controlled outdoor hitting bays. Beyond entertainment, Topgolf’s Jackson venue will employ approximately 200 Playmakers – a/k/a Topgolf Associates – further strengthening the region’s economy.

BOSTON TOPGOLF

“We get asked all the time when we’re bringing a Topgolf to the Boston area, so we couldn’t be happier to finally have an answer to that question,” said Topgolf Chief Development Officer Chris Callaway. “We’re thrilled at the opportunity to join the Canton community and can’t thank the town enough for their support along the way.”

Located along Dedham Street and I-95 approximately 20 miles southwest of downtown Boston, the future venue will involve the redevelopment of the former Cumberland Farms manufacturing and distribution facility. In addition to point-scoring golf games, Players will also be entertained by the venue’s chef-inspired menu items, top-shelf drinks, music, rooftop terrace, outdoor patio and year-round, family-friendly programs.

“It’s with great excitement and pleasure that I welcome Topgolf to our community,” said Canton Select Board Chair John Connolly. “This project will have a significant economic impact to the town of Canton through the creation of jobs and increased tax revenue to support our schools and municipal services, in addition to the environmental and aesthetic benefits of cleaning up a blighted site. It’s truly a ‘hole-in-one’ for Canton.”

ST. LOUIS

Topgolf is bringing its technology-enabled experience to Midtown St. Louis with a new venue, expected to open in late 2023. The venue, which will be the second to serve Greater St. Louis, will be located south of the Saint Louis University campus at the intersection of Chouteau Avenue and Compton Avenue, south of I-64.

Situated within view of the Gateway Arch, the future open-air, three-level venue will feature 102 outdoor hitting bays with all the comforts of inside, a full-service restaurant and bar with chef-inspired menu items, top-shelf drinks, music and year-round family-friendly programs.

SAN DIEGO

Topgolf is initiating plans to open two venues in the San Diego area, with new locations being proposed in Sorrento Valley and East Harbor Island.

“We’ve wanted to bring the Topgolf venue experience to San Diego for a long time, and it’s encouraging to see us making progress toward that goal,” said Topgolf Chief Development Officer Chris Callaway. “While still in the early stages, we’re excited by the potential to bring even more play to the San Diego community.”

At the Port of San Diego, a future Topgolf venue could kick off East Harbor Island redevelopment efforts with a three-story venue housing over 100 hitting bays.

The San Diego area has been the proud home of Topgolf Callaway Brands for more than 40 years.
