PALM COAST, Florida – The Club at Hammock Beach, which features a Jack Nicklaus designed Ocean Course and a Tom Watson designed Conservatory Course, has chosen Troon Prive’ to manage the 36-hole-resort in Palm Coast, Florida. Troon Prive’ is the private club operating division of Troon, the leader in club management, development and marketing, and will oversee the golf operations, golf merchandising, course agronomy and club/membership marketing.

Named a Golf Digest Top 100 Golf Course and recently named to Golfweek’s list of Top 100 Resort Courses, the Ocean Course has six holes that play along the Atlantic Ocean. It concludes with a thrilling finale dubbed “The Bear Claw” a collection of four daunting holes precariously edging the sweeping coastline. The Conservatory is highlighted by waterfalls, streams, ponds and veneered field stonework. In addition to the 140 sand and coquina bunkers, Watson also added three revetted(sod-faced) bunkers, a nod to his affinity for links-style golf. Conservatory was named one of America’s Best New Public Courses when it opened in 2008 by Golf Digest. In October 2019, the adjacent Hammock Beach Resort was named a Top 100 Golf Resort “Best for Families” by Golf Magazine.

“The opportunity to manage a tremendous property like the Club at Hammock Beach is very exciting,” said Bruce Glasco, CEO, Troon. “Our Troom Prive’ team will now look to further elevate the already tremendous operations at Hammock Beach. We are confident that our management practices and dedication to outstanding service will make an already exceptional property even better.”

The Club at Hammock Beach is part of the Hammock Beach Club community; a luxury resort experience and a family-friendly neighborhood environment, all connected by walking paths and sidewalks set on the Atlantic Ocean. In addition to the award- winning golf, Hammock Beach includes a Hydro-grid tennis center overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway, a 91,000 square-foot water park with waterslide and lazy river, a full-service spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center, casual and fine dining restaurants, and a marina.

“We elected to partner with Troon to significantly elevate the member and guest experience at Hammock Beach,” said Greg Ogle, partner, KDG Capital, a Tampa, Florida based real estate private equity firm that purchased it from Lubert Adler, and new owners of the Club at Hammock Beach. “Troon’s track record of managing other courses for us has proven their vision and focus in providing a premier golfing experience. Additionally, Troon’s vast array of resources is simply incredible.”

Flagler County Florida’s largest resort, The Club at Hammock Beach is located along a two mile stretch of the Atlantic Ocean, just 30 minutes south of St. Augustine and 30 minutes north of Daytona Beach. For more information
