CROMWELL, Connecticut – The Travelers Championship, which is the final Signature Event of the PGA TOUR season and the only PGA Tour event scheduled in New England, tees off June 25-28 at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, Connecticut.
The field is again loaded with the PGA Tour’s top players with all but one of the eligible top 50 players in the Official World Golf Ranking. Scottie Scheffler has been the top-ranked player in the world since May 2023, and won the Travelers Championship in 2024. He is joined in this year’s field by Cameron Young (No. 3), winner of THE PLAYERS Championship; Matt Fitzpatrick (No. 4); Russell Henley (No. 5); Tommy Fleetwood (No. 6); Justin Rose (No. 7); J.J. Spaun (No. 9), the reigning U.S. Open champion; Collin Morikawa (No. 10); and Keegan Bradley, winner of two of the past three tournaments at TPC River Highlands (2025 and 2023) and Wyndham Clark, who put in a dominant performance at Shinnicock Hills in the 126th U.S. Open.
“The caliber of PGA TOUR professionals committed to play in next week’s Travelers Championship is a testament to what the event has become,” said Andy Bessette, Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at Travelers. “It’s certainly a win for golf fans in New England, but just as importantly, hosting such an exceptional week of golf makes a real difference for hundreds of charities in the region while also delivering a meaningful economic impact.”

As a Signature Event, players must qualify for the Travelers Championship based on the following performance criteria, ensuring the participation of 72 of the TOUR’s top players:
“Preparations are nearly complete and we’re ready to host the best players in the world so our passionate fans can watch them battle it out over four rounds of competition,” said Travelers Championship Tournament Director Nathan Grube. “The week is shaping up to be another unforgettable experience, so make sure to secure your tickets and come out to TPC River Highlands to catch all the action from the final PGA TOUR Signature Event of the season.”
With the U.S. Open scheduled to conclude on Sunday June 21, the final Travelers Championship player field is subject to change. Sponsor’s exemptions will be announced on Monday, once the final field is set through performance categories. There are five past winners of the Travelers Championship expected to compete: In addition to Bradley and Scheffler, Xander Schauffele (2022), Harris English (2021) and Jordan Spieth (2017) are also in the field.
