Streamsong Resort

Streamsong Resort is a golf and spa resort developed by The Mosaic Company in Bowling Green, Florida on a 16,000 acre property that includes a 228-room hotel and three golf courses built on the site of a former phosphate strip mine.

ORLANDO, Florida – KemperSports is strengthening its commitment to excellence in hospitality management through the appointment of new leadership at Streamsong Resort. The two industry veterans join the team as part of KemperSports’ newly expanded relationship – spanning hotel, restaurant, recreation, spa and golf operations – at the iconic central Florida golf resort.

Kevin Kennedy joins the resort as the General Manager and Craig Falanga will serve as its Director of Sales and Marketing.

They will be great assets in executing our long-term growth plans for the resort.”

Kennedy joins KemperSports with nearly three decades of experience working for Hyatt Hotels and serving as general manager for properties across the United States. Most recently, Kennedy was the general manager at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City in Arlington, Virginia. Throughout his career, Kennedy has taken on leadership roles in community organizations including chairman of the board of directors for Visit Anaheim and chairman of the I-Drive CRA Advisory Board in Orlando. He will begin his new role of general manager at Streamsong on Feb. 8, 2021. Kennedy grew up on the East Coast of Florida and is an avid golfer. He is looking forward to bringing his passion and expertise in golf into his new role at Streamsong.

Falanga is a long-time KemperSports leader and an industry veteran with nearly 20 years of experience in luxury golf, resorts, and private club properties. Prior to his current role at Streamsong, Craig served as KemperSports’ regional sales and marketing director, driving innovative marketing campaigns and business development strategies on behalf of several resort destinations including Streamsong Resort, Golden Horseshoe, The Links at Perry Cabin and Mossy Oak Golf Club. Falanga moved into this new position to directly lead Streamsong’s sales and marketing team on Jan. 1, 2021. In his free time, Craig can be found playing golf on one of Streamsong’s award-winning courses and recently made his second ever hole-in-one on the fifth hole at Streamsong Blue.

KemperSports has led golf course operations for Streamsong Resort since its inception in 2012. The property’s three courses – Streamsong Red, Streamsong Blue and Streamsong Black – have received numerous accolades throughout the golf industry, including Golfweek’s “Best Modern Courses” and “Best Resort Courses,” as well as Golf Digest’s “100 Greatest Public Courses.” The company expanded its role with the property when it assumed management for resort operations in January 2021.
