PuttView to sponsor Carolina Youth Golf event

PuttView, a company that provides competitive golfers the absolute best green maps and yardage books in the game, has been named the title sponsor of the Carolina Golf Association Tarheel Youth Golf Association scheduled March 20-21, 2021 at Lane Tree Golf Club in Goldsboro, N.C.

DELRAY BEACH, Florida – PuttView has been named title sponsor of a new Carolinas Golf Association Tarheel Youth Golf Association event. The inaugural PuttView Junior will be held March 20-21, 2021 at Lane Tree Golf Club in Goldsboro, N.C.

As part of the sponsorship, TYGA will provide every player in the field with “The Book,” PuttView’s new yardage book/greens guide. Puttview will have representatives onsite to help the players learn how to read greens maps.

“The PuttView Junior is our newest event, and we are obviously delighted to provide another opportunity for young golfers throughout the Carolinas to compete against their peers,” said Jason Cox, director of youth Development, Carolinas Golf Association. “PuttView is an ideal sponsor for the tournament. The Book is the best yardage book and greens guide in the game, and this will allow us to educate our players on how best to read greens maps, a skill that will serve them well as they advance in the game.”

“We are thrilled to partner with the Carolinas Golf Association to help launch the PuttView Junior,” said Christoph Pregizer, PuttView’s founder and managing director. “This partnership is a natural one for PuttView, allowing us to assist junior golfers and it’s a privilege to work with the CGA, one of America’s most respected regional golf associations.”

PuttView introduced “The Book” this July and has quickly emerged as the game’s more popular greens guide and yardage book combination. Players at all levels of the game are using “The Book,” which provides two views of each green and a yardage book hand-built by former Division I collegiate players and coaches.

The Book’s thermal view uses color to allow players to quickly see ridges in greens and possible hole locations. The detailed view supports green reading with arrows and contours shown at the maximum level allowed within the rules of golf, helping players quickly process vital information.

Yardage books feature fairway arrows when the slope exceeds 4 percent, carry and runout distance, elevation change and distance rings, among other valuable information.

The greens maps and yardage books are fully compliant with all USGA and R&A rules.

PuttView offers greens maps for more than 8,000 courses – a number that is growing daily – and yardage books for more than 30,000 layouts across the globe.
