The Tournament Committee has announced the Grande Dunes Resort Course in Myrtle Beach will be hosting the World Am Flight Winner’s Playoff again in 2023. After a fantastic run of eight years at the Barefoot Dye Club, the Friday finale was moved to it’s new home at the gorgeous Grande Dunes Resort. .
The Flight Winner’s Playoff for the 2023 World Amateur Handicap Championship will be hosted on Friday, September 1st, 2023 at the Grande Dunes Resort course with tee times starting at 7:30 a.m.

“I’ve played in over a dozen World Ams and it gets better and better every year,” said Rich Nota, a 9-handicap and former Massachusetts resident now retired in Little River, South Carolina. “The best part is you play with golfers your own age and your own skill level and you find that you have much in common other than golf. Hard to believe the World Am has been around for 40 years and I played in a few of the early events going back to 1980s.”
Registration for the 2023 Myrtle Beach World Amateur Championship is now open. The entry fee is $599 that includes four days of golf and four outstanding courses on the “Grand Strand.” A gift bag valued at over 4200 with gift certificate to PGA Tour Superstore.
