The “ahs” have it when your feet first delve into a pair of TRUE linkswear’s Antigravity golf shoes. The comfort of these lightweight, waterproof creations is that emotive. The “eyes” also have it as these new additions to golf footwear are fashionable and distinctive.
With the mid-March 2026 launching of these TRUE styles, if Nancy Sinatra were a golfer, she would be crooning, “These shoes are made for walkin’.”
Yet, Jason Moore, co-founder and CEO of TRUE, who revels in the all-day performance of his offerings, discovered his inspiration in the material found in elite marathoners’ shoes. He wanted golf shoes as soft and cushioned and durable as top-of-the-line running gear.
Moore borrowed this material, the Pebax Superfoam midsole, to insure his TRUE golf shoes lightweight stability, featherweight cushioning, lively rebound, and long-term resiliency.

Moore said, “Walking golf is endurance. It’s repetition. It loads over time. Our entire mission has always been to make that walk as enjoyable as possible, which is exactly why we’re so excited to introduce Pebax into our offering. Its lightweight nature and ultra-responsive cushioning help your feet feel noticeably better at the end of the round—not just on the first tee.
“Pebax is up to 50 percent lighter than traditional midsole foams. The responsive cushioning, with up to 30 percent more rebound than many competitive foams, really fuels each step and helps reduce the cumulative impact of a long day on your feet. After a full round of walking, your feet simply feel better. That end-of-day relief was our true a-ha moment. We can’t wait for players to experience the difference.”
Moore’s design process also included the time-tested fundamentals of building high-performance golf shoes for players competing at the highest levels: close to the ground, incredible grip, lateral stability, natural movement, and ergonomic design.
Moore declared, “We simply infused that foundation with technology originally engineered for running and racing. The result is a golf shoe that enhances performance without sacrificing feel or connection.”

The outer section of the shoe, which reflects the performance technology inside the shoe, is made of Ripstop, a woven fabric designed to resist tearing and ripping, hence ripstop. The shoe also contains a TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) mudguard—a flexible, rubber-like plastic that combines the elasticity of rubber with the strength and moldability of plastic—to add structure and protection in high-wear areas, especially in wet or rugged conditions.
Moore has intentionally built a highly waterproof and durable upper but also engineered the tongue using neoprene so it’s both water-resistant and breathable. That means the shoe remains comfortable even in warm weather. Overall, the design is technical, durable, easy to maintain, and purpose-built for real-world use.
Moore summed up the 2026 Antigravity shoe. “It represents the next ultra high-end performance golf shoe. The result absolutely delivers on that. But it also proved to be incredibly versatile for the golf course and beyond. For the wear testers who’ve been living in these for the last few years, they’ve gone everywhere: trails, offices, international travel, even skydiving.
“The comfort, style, and versatility don’t just hold up—they often exceed expectations across environments. This shoe doesn’t compromise performance for comfort—it enhances both. It functions at a high level on the golf course, but it transitions effortlessly into the rest of your life.”

I learned about TRUE linkswear at the PGA Show in January and was impressed with the vision, the technology and the product. I ordered the Antigravity model, but, because of its popularity even then, it was back ordered. Now, I have been wearing them for the past month, and, yes, it is almost like walking on air.
I don’t traverse the course anymore, but the shoes are also well suited for us old codgers who drive a cart. Because the soles are spikeless and non-abrasive, I put them on in the house and don’t take them off until I return home after the round.
Without doubt, my TRUE Antigravity shoes are the most comfy golf footwear I have ever worn. Remember, these golf shoes are made for walking on the golf course. And for walking while driving a cart. And just for walking. That’s so TRUE.
