Odyssey Chipper

The newest club from Odyssey Golf is called the Chipper which promises to eliminate chunks retails for $179.

ORLANDO, Florida – Beginners and higher handicap players often have a hard time with chip shots around the green and Callaway’s putter division Odyssey offers help with their new Chipper club.

ODYSSEY CHIPPER

37° loft

White polymer face insert

Stock shaft: Odyssey Stepped 2.0 chrome steel

Stock length: men 35.5 in., women 34.5 in.

Hybrid contour head

Stepped sole

$179.99

Beginners do it, seniors do it, women do it, even tour players do it (much less often) and that’s chunk, hit fat or skull those simple-looking but sometimes devilish to do chip shots.

Odyssey’s new Chipper isn’t the first, they’ve been around decades, but it does have the benefit of Callaway’s experience with their previous models, and some interesting thinking has gone into the Chipper for 2025.

Turf contact is minimized with the step sole design plus it helps get the club through long grass near the green with less resistance. We think users will like the look at address; both the shape of the head and the contrast of the face insert are pleasing. The polymer insert is soft enough so it can cushion impact with the ball for added control.
