BOSTON – Heritage Sports Ventures (HSV) announced this week its launch as a boutique sports, entertainment, and media agency headquartered in Boston.
Heritage Sports Ventures is focused on creating authentic partnerships and optimizing commercial revenue for brands and properties through partnership sales, brand alignment, events and venue management services.
The HSV executive team brings together top business leaders in the sports and entertainment industry with extensive experience working with brands, teams, leagues, venues and governing bodies. With a proven track record of creating relationships ranging from team revenue sales, venue naming rights, media partnerships and world-class events, HSV provides clients the intimate care of a specialty agency with the network and ability of the largest agencies in the world.

Frenette’s business resume includes 13 years of sales & marketing experience in the NBA, PGA TOUR and Major League Lacrosse. He has worked for years as vice president of corporate sponsorships for the Boston Celtics and, before that, in a similar role for the Deutsche Bank Championship golf tournament, an annual PGA Tour stop at TPC Boston from 2003 – 2020.
Since October 2015, he was president of the Boston Cannons, the city’s humble and little-known Major League Lacrosse team. Now, with a winning track record of implementing multi-million dollar business relationships and facilitating professional c-level client relationships, he’s excited about the launch of Heritage Sports Ventures.
