MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina – Hank Haney, one of golf’s most acclaimed teachers, will be a featured guest at the 38th annual PlayGolfMyrtleBeach.com World Amateur Handicap Championship, appearing at the World Largest 19th Hole on Tuesday, August 31.
A 72-hole, net stroke play event, the World Am has attracted more than 3,500 players from all 50 states and will be played August 29 – September 3. Hank Haney’s appearance will headline the entertainment lineup at the ever-popular 19th Hole.

“Hank Haney is one of golf’s premier instructors, and we look forward to welcoming him to the PlayGolfMyrtleBeach.com World Amateur Handicap Championship,” tournament director Scott Tomasello said. “Hank understands the game and the unique pressures of tournament golf as well as anyone, which makes him perfect for the World Am.
