NORTON, Massachusetts – The field is set for the 2025 FM Championship, to be held Aug. 28-31 at TPC Boston. A who’s-who of the world’s best female golfers and one of the strongest fields of the LPGA Tour season will head to the greater Boston/Providence area to compete for a $4.1 million purse, the largest purse on the LPGA Tour outside of the majors and tour championship.
The 2025 FM Championship field includes 70 LPGA Tour winners, led by 2024 FM winner Haeran Ryu and 2024 FM runner-up Jin Young Ko, who has 15 LPGA Tour victories on her resume. Those 70 winners include all five major champions from 2025, as well as 20 of the year’s record-setting 22 different champions. There are currently 36 of the top 40 players in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings competing, including No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul and No. 2 Nelly Korda.

The field also includes Massachusetts favorites Megan Khang, an FM Ambassador who hails from Rockland; Brittany Altomare, from Shrewsbury; and Alexa Pano, who grew up in Westborough.
“The word’s out that the FM Championship is the place to be this time of year,” said Khang, ranked No. 31 in the world who commuted to the tournament from her home in Medford last year. “Once the girls get here who haven’t been here in the past, they are going to see what a premier event this is. It’s going to be one of those stops where no one ever wants to miss.”
The $4.1 million purse makes it one of the highest grossing events on the LPGA schedule. FM (Factory Mutual), whose corporate office will soon be in Norwood, have gone the extra mile to cover hotel costs for all players, help to offset transportation difficulties and include additional amenities such as a $500 stipend to players who miss the cut that other events would never consider.

The FM Championship field will include two sponsor invitations – leading amateurs Megha Ganne, winner of the 2025 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship, and Amelie Zalsman, winner of the 2025 Rolex Girls Junior Championship. Five spots remain in the FM Championship field, to be filled by the winner of and two top-10 finishers at the CPKC Women’s Open (if not already in the field) and the top two finishers of Monday’s Local Qualifying Round.
A new element for FM Championship week is the addition of the CIBC Women’s Leadership Forum presented by The Players Impact. On Monday, Aug. 25, a group of 100 executives, founders, athletes, investors and business leaders will gather at TPC Boston to spotlight and accelerate the influence of women leading with purpose. Themed to “Ambition in Action,” this forum will celebrate bold leadership and the power of investing in potential. Notable speakers include leading women’s sports advocates Angela Ruggiero, a four-time member of the United States Women’s National Ice Hockey Team, and Jen Welter, the first woman to hold an NFL coaching position, as well as LPGA Tour athletes and executives from CIBC, FM, The Players Impact and SERVPRO.
