Crestwood Country Club: Perfect Location for a Memorable Wedding

Crestwood Country Club, a private country club situated on 180 rolling acres in Rehoboth (MA) located 10 minutes from Providence and 45 minutes from Boston, is the perfect choice to host a wedding.

REHOBOTH, Mass – Crestwood Country Club was the creation of legendary golf course architect, Geoffrey Cornish. Since its opening in 1961, the course has become a premier location for golfers who appreciate the serene setting and lush fairways of a country club.

Yet Crestwood C.C is much more than a beautiful golf course. Owner Joe Moniz has created a venue that can host that special event. And it is the ideal location for a wedding!

Crestwood C.C. is surrounded by 150 acres of pristine woods that create a beautiful environment for your special day. Ponds reflect the woods and create a wonderful setting for photographs and the ceremony.

On site there is wedding planner Melany Coffey, who has a wealth of experience in the industry. I recently spoke with Melany, and she gave me a tour of the club.

“When people visit Crestwood the first thing they notice is the beautiful grounds,” she said. When the wedding party comes for their first visit they can be overwhelmed on how to start planning for the wedding day. To help the clients envision their wedding, Melany invites the happy couple to take a tour when a wedding is taking place at the country club. “By observing the wedding, they can see how beautiful the setting is and also reduce some of the anxiety many couples have about making plans for their wedding.”

For those who like big weddings, Crestwood can accommodate up to 200 guests. “One thing that most couples appreciate is that Crestwood hosts only ONE wedding a day. Many venues host more than one wedding and it can create a bit of a chaotic environment.”

Another feature of a wedding at the Country Club is that the bride can get dressed on site and the bride and her party can arrive as early as 9 a.m. on wedding day. Crestwood provides a bridal suite, this is available for the entire day where a hair stylist and make-up artists can assist everyone in the bride’s party. Also, you can order breakfast or lunch from this same room.

Outdoor ceremonies are held by a beautiful pond and fountain with a wedding arch that’s surrounded by seasonal flowers. Thousands of trees and lush fairways create a perfect backdrop for the wedding. If the weather proves unsuitable for an outside wedding, one of the lounges is available. It can be set up in a chapel style environment. Remember that only one wedding a day is held at Crestwood so nobody ever feels rushed. The upper-level room, including the lounge and bar with an attached deck are available to guests.

The grand Ballroom has high ceilings, exquisite chandeliers and a big dance floor. Photos are always important and posing your wedding party on a grand staircase, or outside with the golf course, create a backdrop for your photographs.
