NAPLES, Florida – Six past champions and several major champions will compete for part of the total purse of $1.8 million in the 2026 Chubb Classic taking place Feb. 13-15 at Tiburón Golf Club in Naples.

Also joining the field are major champions Angel Cabrera, Mark Calcavecchia, Darren Clarke and David Toms. PGA Tour Champions major winners committed to the Chubb Classic include Doug Barron, Olin Browne, Alex Cejka, K.J. Choi, Jerry Kelly, Jeff Maggert, Scott McCarron and former Naples resident Rocco Mediate.
Popular Southwest Florida native George McNeill, who turned 50 on October 2 has qualified and will make his Champions Tour debut. McNeill was born in Naples and well known in golf circles in the region. He has two PGA wins on his resume: The 2007 Frys.com Open and 2012 Puerto Rico Open and will be looking for fame and fortune playing golf in his first year of eligibility on the Champions Tour.
“George McNeill is currently committed to the Chubb Classic via the PGA TOUR Victories category,” said Connor Stange, PGA Tour Manager, Communications & Statistical Information. “This category leaves two spots open for players in their age-50 year. Of the players who are 50 years old (not yet 51 or older) and not committed to the event in a prior category, McNeill has the most PGA TOUR wins.”

He joins an elite 78-player field competing in the 54-hole championship on the Black Course at Tiburón Golf Club. Golf Channel will televise all three rounds of play live.
“We are excited about the return of many of our past champions and major champions in what is shaping up to be an incredible world-classic field as the 2026 PGA Tour Champions season kicks off in full swing here in Naples in February,” said Sandy Diamond, executive director of the Chubb Classic.

Tiburón Golf Club, managed by Troon, is the only facility to host a PGA TOUR, PGA TOUR Champions and LPGA Tour event in the same calendar year. Tiburón Golf Club features two 18-hole Championship golf courses, The Gold and The Black. The Black Course, which opened in 2001, has a very distinctive look with pine straw-lined fairways, crushed coquina waste areas and undulating greens nestled amidst acres of pine trees and native Florida foliage. The Black Course is designated as a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary by Audubon International to protect and enhance its natural surroundings.
