Dave Irons

For close to 50 years Dave Irons has been writing for newspapers, magazines and various publications mostly about skiing. His work has appeared in some of the East’s largest newspapers, the Boston Globe, the New York Daily News, and papers in his home state of Maine along with magazines including SKI, Skiing and Snow Country. In the nineties he added golf to his writing with a column in the Lewiston, Maine Sun Journal where his ski columns have been running since 1983. In the eighties and nineties Irons produced radio and television ski reports covering all three northern New England Ski States, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Dave plays to an 18 handicap when playing regularly.
