COURSE

The Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass is one of the world’s most famous golf courses. Behind the scenes the grounds crews are busy preparing the course for this year’s tournament the same way they have been for years.

Most of the pre-tournament attention is directed towards the greens which always require a little more attention to detail. Precision mowing, coupled with consistent rolling and moisture meter checks to insure consistency across the entire green.

It would be difficult to find a course that has more variety than the Stadium Course. Pete Dye pulled no punches when he designed a course that favors neither drawers nor faders but rather the golfer who can work the ball both ways. The rolling fairways, strategically place bunkers, deep roughs, lightning fast greens and water issues on most holes, makes for a challenging day as it demands complete focus and precision on each shot.
