MILESEEY’s GeneSonic Pro Speaker/Rangefinder is Calling Your Name

Mileseey Golf's GeneSonic Pro is the world's first speaker & detachable GPS handheld all-in-one which retails for $299.

ORLANDO, Florida – Each year when I attend the PGA Show, I try to identify a couple of new products that truly impress me – then I write about them. Unlike some, I don’t spend hours combing through the exhibitor list searching for the next hidden gem. My approach is far more scientific: I wander the aisles until a little thought bubble pops up that says, “…that looks cool.”

At the 2026 PGA Show, I didn’t even have to wander. The product found me – weeks before the Show, in fact.

As anyone in golf media knows, the weeks leading up to the PGA Show are a tsunami of emails inviting us to “stop by the booth” and check out the latest must-have XYZ product. I try to be polite and at least open most of them. One such email came from Tracie May-Wagner representing MILESEEY Golf – a brand completely new to me.

Over 1,100 exhibitors at the 73rd annual PGA Show and esteemed golf writer Larry Hall found the world’s first speaker & detachable GPS handheld all-in-one.

She hooked me by paragraph two.

“You are also invited to an exclusive evening of cocktails and canapés.” I immediately thought, This woman understands media relations.

The “party” was designed to introduce a new MILESEEY product called the GeneSonic Pro – which, when translated from marketing speak, is a golf speaker with a built-in rangefinder. As requested, we stopped by the MILESEEY booth on Day One to hear the pitch and pick up our formal party invitations.

I’ll be honest: I arrived fully prepared not to be impressed. Golf speakers? Been around forever. Rangefinders? Same. But after seeing the GeneSonic Pro in action – and hearing everything it does; I was, to borrow a British phrase, completely gobsmacked.

Let’s start with the sound. The speaker delivers 40 watts of power, putting it in the same league as many home BOSE units. This isn’t tinny cart noise – this is legit audio. The GPS software is preloaded with over 43,000 golf courses worldwide, and best of all, there’s no subscription required. Distances are accurate, fast, and displayed clearly.

Here’s where things get clever: if your ball finds its way into a valley, behind a mound, or anywhere your cart can’t go, you simply remove the handheld GPS unit from the speaker and take it with you. Exact distance, no guessing, no pacing, no pretending you know how far 147 yards actually is.

That handheld unit deserves its own paragraph. Think of it as a remote control on steroids. It controls speaker volume, delivers rangefinder distances, and features a 3-inch color screen displaying hole layouts and course maps. Honestly, at this point, it’s doing everything except reading greens and complimenting your swing.

Still not enough? How about a quad MagLock system – translation: a big, beefy magnet that locks the speaker to the cart frame and releases only when you want it to. No more expensive speakers launching themselves onto the cart path mid-round. Rain? No problem – it’s weather resistant. Battery life? A casual 15 hours of continuous music.

Phone dying? Plug it into the speaker and charge it up, but no phone required to use this system. By the time the demo wrapped up, I had completely forgotten about the party. Thankfully, Tracie reminded me, with two invitations and a promise of a fun night ahead.

She did not oversell it. Food, booze, music, a comedian and yep, even a mermaid.

For golfers who’ve ever thought, “Music on the course would be nice,” or “I really should own a rangefinder,” the search is officially over. The GeneSonic Pro gives you both – for about the price of a high-quality rangefinder alone.

The speaker is brand new and will be on the shelves at your local golf store soon, but it is available directly from MILESEEY at: www.mileseeygolf.com

Sometimes the best new product isn’t the one you go looking for. Sometimes, it invites you to cocktails first!
