LPGA Heading Back to TPC Boston for 2025 FM Championship August 28-31

The second edition of the FM Championship will take place at TPC Boston from Aug. 28-31 and promises a thrilling competition as 144 LPGA players tee it up to compete for a $4.1 million purse, the LPGA Tour’s largest outside of majors and the tour championship.

NORTON, Massachusetts – Labor Day weekend is just around the corner, and the world’s best golfers are gearing up to spend it in the greater Boston area. The second edition of the FM Championship will take place at TPC Boston from Aug. 28-31 and promises a thrilling competition as 144 standout LPGA athletes tee it up to compete for a $4.1 million purse, the Tour’s largest prize fund outside of majors and the tour championship.

As the LPGA Tour celebrates its 75th anniversary, the longest-running of any women’s professional sports organization, records continue to be broken with the largest single-season prize fund and 21 unique winners through 20 events. In a year marked by excellence, don’t miss the opportunity to be a part of LPGA history at the FM Championship.

The FM Championship field is currently set to be headlined by four of the top five players in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings – No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul, No. 2 Nelly Korda, No. 4 Ruoning Yin and No. 5 Minjee Lee. 2025 FM champion Haeran Ryu is expected to return to TPC Boston in search of a successful title defense, along with 2025 runner-up Jin Young Ko.

FM Ambassador and Rockland’s own Megan Khang is one of three Massachusetts natives in the field, along with Brittany Altomare, of Shrewsbury, and Alexa Pano, of Westborough. Additionally, Sophia Popov, who grew up in Germany, was born in Framingham and spent her childhood summers with family on Nantucket.

Other names in the field for the FM Championship are 2025 major champions Grace Kim, Minjee Lee, Mao Saigo, Maja Stark and Miyu Yamashita, as well as notable 2025 winners Jennifer Kupcho, Madelene Sagstrom, Lottie Woad and Angel Yin.

The full field will be finalized on Aug. 19.

Massachusetts native Megan Khang wrapped up her homecoming week at TPC Boston and the 2024 FM Championship T-35 posting rounds of 70-71-71 -73.

Tickets are available for purchase at www.SeatGeek.com. Daily tickets start at $59 for General Admission, with weekly passes starting at $124. Starting at $64, the fan-favorite Del’s Lemonade ticket package will include a daily General Admission ticket and a large Del’s Lemonade.

For an elevated hospitality experience, U.S. Virgin Islands Champions Club packages, which include a parking pass, start at $385 for daily admission and $1,199 for weekly access. The U.S. Virgin Islands Champions Club at the 16th green will provide incredible views of the featured par-3 hole, along with access to shared food and beverage service, which includes lunch, afternoon snacks, water, soft drinks, beer and wine, as well as access to upgraded restroom facilities.

In partnership with SERVPRO, the LPGA is offering both current and former members of the U.S. Military and certain guests complimentary grounds tickets regardless of sell-out. Additionally, juniors aged 17 and under will receive complimentary admission with the purchase of an adult ticket.

The LPGA returns to New England for the second time in 20 years in the 2025 FM Championship featuring a $4.1 million purse at TPC Boston from Aug. 28-31.

TPC Boston, located 25 miles south of Boston, opened in 2002 with an original layout by Arnold Palmer, followed by a 2007 redesign by Gil Hanse and Brad Faxon. The course has hosted 17 PGA Tour events, including the Deutsche Bank Championship, the Dell Technologies Championship and The Northern Trust. The 2024 FM Championship was the first professional women’s competition held at TPC Boston.
