What an eventful past couple of days in the Connecticut Section PGA. After an action packed fall meeting yesterday we are proud to congratulate our newest board members; secretary Bob Sparks of Fairview Farm GC and directors John Dipollina of Lyman Orchards GC and Philip Krick of Mohegan Sun GC. We would also like to congratulate outgoing section president Ian Marshall for his new appointment as District 1 Director. Big things are ahead for the Connecticut Section PGA!

The 85th Annual Fall Meeting is underway at Lake Of Isles Golf Course at Foxwoods Resort Casino.

Today we will hold elections for two year terms as President, Vice President and Secretary, as well as two positions for three year terms as Director. In addition, the section will elect a District 1 Director for a two year term to begin in 2020.

We are all set for the 5th Annual Hall of Fame and Champions Tribute at Lake Of Isles Golf Course at Foxwoods Resort Casino.

Tonight we celebrate the 2018 Champions as well as the 2018 Hall of Fame Inductees: Joe Curtin (posthumously) Mike Carney, and Ralph Salito.

Tumble Brook's Kyle Bilodeau has made the cut and is tied for 34th at the Assistants Championship

The 42nd National Car Rental Assistant PGA Professional Championship kicks off today at PGA Golf Club. Good luck to section representatives Michael Jezierski of Raceway Golf Club and Kyle Bilodeau of Tumble Brook Country Club!

Congratulations to the 2018 Del Kinney Pro-Pro champions, William Street & William Wallis. The duo posted a better ball score of 67 (5-under par) on their way to earning the right to raise the trophy.

A special thanks to long time event sponsor Cutter & Buck, represented by Jeff Schroeder. Thank you also to Glenn Carlson, PGA and the entire staff at Torrington CC for hosting this year’s event.
